NOTE: This service pack is for use only by holders of a current valid Microsoft SQL Server version 7.0 license. This service pack addresses some specific problems that were discovered in SQL Server version 7.0 after it began shipping. Microsoft recommends that all Microsoft SQL Server version 7.0 users apply this service pack.

Service Pack 1 for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) 1.0 is available for Intel (x86) and Alpha-based computers.

Instructions for Downloading

The following files are available for download on the Internet:

Sql70sp1i.exe: Database Components SP1 for Intel-based computers.

Sql70sp1a.exe: Database Components SP1 for Alpha-based computers.

Sql70Olapsp1i.exe: OLAP Services SP1 for Intel-based computers.

Sql70olapsp1a.exe: OLAP Services SP1 for Alpha-based computers.

To obtain these self-extracting files using the anonymous FTP server on the Internet:

Go to either of the following FTP sites:

Locate and open one of the following folders and download the file:
