XFOR: GroupWise Connector Installation Problems

SYMPTOMS

When you install the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Novell GroupWise, you may receive a message in Windows NT claiming that either Ntsperf.dll (if the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes is installed), or Ovvperf.dll (if the OV/VM Connector is installed), or Snaperf.dll (if the SNADS Connector is installed) can not be overwritten, and that the file may be read-only.

CAUSE

The Ntsperf.dll, Ovvperf.dll, and Snaperf.dll files are located in the Exchsrvr\Connect\Exchconn directory, and can be renamed to Ntsperf.old, Ovvperf.old, and Snaperf.old respectively so that the installation can continue.
