SYMPTOMS

When you change the audio codec or add script commands, the NetShow Encoder may return the following error message:

   NetShow error occurred. Code [c00d07de]

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

WORKAROUND

Use the QuickStart template that best suits your needs. If you must use custom settings, make sure the settings you use compensate for the script commands.

MORE INFORMATION

The error message is returned from the NetShow Encoder when the total amount of data to be encoded in the stream exceeds the bit-rate that you intend for the stream.

Script commands themselves take a small amount of bandwidth in the stream. If you are using custom settings in the NetShow Encoder, or if you modify an existing template to use another codec, sampling rate, or add script commands, it is possible that you will receive this error message.
