When you are troubleshooting FrontPage for the Macintosh, it may be necessary to limit the number of extensions to just those that are needed by FrontPage.

This article discusses the process of accessing the Macintosh Extensions Library and enabling the basic Macintosh Extensions needed to run FrontPage.

To access the Macintosh Extensions Library, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of the screen.


  2. Point to Control Panels, and click Extensions Manager.


  3. In the Extensions Manager, click Mac OS 8.5 Base from the Selected Set box.

    NOTE: If you are using a version of the Mac OS other than 8.5, the Mac OS version will be different.


  4. Click to select the check box for each of the following items:
