FP2000: VID SDK Query Builder DTC Causes Run-Time Error When Inserted in FrontPage

SYMPTOMS

When you insert the Query Builder Design Time Control (included in the Visual Interdev 6 DTC SDK) in a page in FrontPage, the following run-time error occurs:

Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)';

Automation Error


CAUSE

FrontPage does not support the requests the Query Builder design time control makes.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, open the page in Visual Interdev and re-insert the Query Builder design time control. After inserting the design time control, save the page in Visual Interdev.
