FP98: Numbers Truncated if List Contains More Than 99 Items

SYMPTOMS

When you have a numbered list that contains more than 99 items, the third digit of the number appears to be truncated in FrontPage Editor.

CAUSE

The paragraph indentation is not adjusted to take into account the length of the three-digit number. This problem does not appear when you view the page in a Web browser.

RESOLUTION

Preview the page in a Web browser.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
