When you double-click the "Setup Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01" icon on your Windows desktop, the Setup program does not run, and Internet Explorer is not installed.

To change the location that the "Setup for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01" icon points to, follow these steps:

  1. Use your right mouse button to click (right-click) the "Setup for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01" icon on the Windows desktop.

  2. Click Properties on the shortcut menu.

  3. On the Shortcut tab, change the Target box to point to the correct path for Ie4setup.exe.
