OFF2000: Error Message "Cannot open specified file."

ERROR MESSAGE

When you click a hyperlink in a Microsoft Office document, the following error message appears:

Cannot open specified file.

CAUSE

The hyperlink in Microsoft Excel uses the Hyperlink worksheet function.

The hyperlink points to a file whose name contains the pound sign (#) symbol.
