OFF2000: Filter Settings Lost When You Move Field to Filter Area

SYMPTOMS

When you move a field from the row or column area of your Office PivotTable list to the filter field area, all filter settings on the field are lost.


CAUSE

This problem will occur if your PivotTable list is based on an Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) data source.
