Insert with Organization Chart

To insert an .opx file into a presentation without using the Insert menu, you can start Organization Chart, open the file, copy it, and then paste it into your document.

NOTE: The following steps assume that your document is already open.
  1. Click Start, and click Run.

  2. Click Browse and navigate to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Orgchart folder and select Orgchart.exe.

  3. Click Open, and then click OK. This will start Organization Chart.

  4. When the Open Chart dialog box appears, select the .opx file you wish to use from the list, and then click Open.

  5. After the .opx file loads, press CTRL+A. This selects all the items in the orgchart.

  6. On the Edit menu, click Copy.

  7. Switch to your document.

  8. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

The Organizational Chart now appears in your document.
