OFF97: Rotated Text in PICT Graphic Converted from MacWord Is Duplicated

SYMPTOMS

When you open a Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh Edition document in Microsoft Word 97 for Windows, and the document contains pictures that include rotated text, the rotated text objects contain two copies of the text.


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem.
