SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Outlook, when you try to print a fax that you received using Microsoft Fax on a Canon Bubble-Jet, BJC-620e or BJ-43000, a black page is printed.

NOTE: This symptom also occurs when using a Hewlett Packard (HP) DeskJet 600 printer.

RESOLUTION

Install the Canon BJC-600e driver provided with your version of Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows 98. To configure the driver to print received faxes, follow these steps:

  1. On the File menu, click Print. Click Properties and then click the Graphics tab.

  2. Under Dithering, click Fine.

  3. Click Color and then click "Print in black and white only."

  4. Click OK three times to print the fax.

If you use an HP DeskJet 600 printer, install the HP DeskJet 550C printer driver.
