NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate Workgroup/Other option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the Corporate Workgroup installation.

To use cc:Mail Mobile with Outlook. follow these steps:

  1. Create a new profile which includes the cc:Mail transport from the Microsoft Office 97 ValuPack.


  2. When prompted, enter the path to your cc:Mail post office and your user name, for example, C:\Ccmobile\Ccdata1.


  3. Start Outlook with the cc:Mail Mobile profile. You can now address messages using the cc:Mail Mobile folder, send messages to your cc:Mail Mobile Outbox, and download unread messages in to your cc:Mail Mobile Inbox.


To use cc:Mail Mobile to send and receive messages from a remote post office, you must start cc:Mail Background as a separate program and click the Start button to initiate the dialup connection.
